For laid-back cyclists, we would suggest the bike paths on Mitterberg plateau itself as well as the Enns Bike Tour (R 7).
Mitterberg Leisurely Tour
Easy
With a distance of 16.2 kilometers and 390 meters of elevation gain
the Leisurely Tour takes about 1 hour to complete.
Start: Right at the hotel
Tour Description:
A leisurely hike across the Mitterberg — passing picturesque villages and always with views of the Stoderzinken, Kammspitze, and Grimming. Perfect for anyone who wants to combine nature with enjoyment.
This relaxed loop tour starts right at the hotel and continues on to Tipschern. Before reaching the main road, a path on the right leads back up the Mitterberg to Berg and on to Gersdorf, before finally returning via Kaindorf
to the Häuserl im Wald.
On well-maintained paved roads, you can enjoy the tranquility of the quiet roads
and the impressive panoramic views.
The new hit: E-biking
In the Schladming-Dachstein region is a 200 km-long network of e-bike tours, with plenty of battery- recharging and -changing stations along the way. E-bikes can be rented from Sport Mandl in Gröbming.

Viehberg-Tour - app. 42 km - difficult
Gets off to a leisurely start from our hotel to
Gröbming. This is followed by a steep climb through the "Öfen" up to
the Viehbergalm. After enjoying some hearty snacks as our reward, it's
time to head down to the valley and alongside the Salza reservoir back
to the Mitterberg.
Stoderzinken Tour - app. 40 km - difficult
After a relaxing warm-up along the banks of the Enns, we begin a slow,
tough climb spanning 1,166 vertical meters, until we reach the top of
the Stoderzinken, rewarded by absolutely magnificent panoramas.
This tour begins right here at our hotel.
