Nordic Walking & Running on the Mitterberg

Directly from here at our hotel, you can set out on the Mitterberg's clearly marked running and Nordic-walking trails. You have a wide range of distances, between 2.5 km and 12 km, and difficulty levels to choose from.

In total, the Mitterberg greets you with around 50 kilometers of hiking, running and Nordic-walking trails for the enjoyment of all hiking and sports fans.

And in the process, take in the magnificent countryside of Mitterberg!

"Motion Arena Mitterberg"

Gersdorfer Tour (M2) - easy - 2.6 km

The starting point for this tour is our own Hotel Häuserl im Wald.

A short tour, an ideal way to unwind and escape for a while. The route leads you along forest, meadow, gravel and paved paths, through our magical countryside.

Straight from our hotel into the midst of nature.

The Village Tour (M6) - intermediate - 5.3 km

The Village Tour also runs right past Hotel Häuserl im Wald.
This laid-back route takes you to Gersdorf, then continues in the direction of Zirting and along a forest path. During this tour, you can really appreciate the beauty of the Mitterberg high plateau.

And afterwards, reward yourself with a refreshment break out on our beautiful sun terrace.

The Marathon Tour (M1) - difficult - 17.8 km

An idyllic, but physically more demanding tour! A great way to experience all of the beautiful scenery in Mitterberg.

The start of this tour is nearby Mitterberg village hall.
And then, simply follow the permanent signs which were set up by the IVV (International Federation of Popular Sports).
