Because summer and winter ice stock is a team sport, it is not about the individual ability of each player, but rather about performing well as a team!
At the beginning, a team leader is chosen, who then decides on the tactics and gives direction to the rest of the team. S/he is the so-called "Moar".
Each "stock" is aimed at a red cube, known as the "cat".
Since, in Pinzgau rules, points are not scored according to the Olympic system, the only goal of the game is to insure that your team's "stock" finishes closer to the "cat" than any of those of your opponents. Great fun is guaranteed!
